Work Permits

Due to its great economy, Lebanon receives every year thousands of foreign workers. Lebanon's labor law promotes employment rate by generating more and more job positions in market. On one hand, there are jobs that must be performed by a Lebanese national in the following industries: banking, engineering, manufacturing, architecture, and printing, among others. On the other hand, there are specific professions that foreigners are not allowed to work in such as jewelry, pharmacies and banking.

To sum up here we listed some required documents that are needed to ask for a work permit in Lebanon:
- Application form submitted by the employer.
- Approval of Labor Ministry.
- Photocopies of foreign passport plus to color photos.
- Work contract photocopy.
- Medical certificate from a hospital.
