Responsabilities:
Authorizes and controls the disbursement of funds and budgetary allocations. Review, approve and post all payment, journal and cash receipt vouchers issued in Kigali Finance Unit.
Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Accounting procedures and UN Financial Rules and Regulations Technology awareness: Strong familiarity with the UN computer-based accounting system (SUN system) and UN Accounting Manual

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in Business Administration, preferably with a major in overall Finance
Experience:
A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in the processing and management of computerized Finance system, two of which should be in the UN financial system or other international organization.
Languages:
English and French are the working Languages of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Working knowledge of the other languages desirable.
Others:
Knowledge of the UN Staff Rules and Financial Rules/Regulations as well as accounting principles.
