Responsabilities:
Take the lead in providing technical advice regarding safeguards conclusions for a State. Participate in negotiation and other meetings with State authorities or representatives and represent the Section/Division in Departmental meetings
Competencies:
Demonstrated knowledge of a complex international safeguards system and knowledge of quality management.

Qualifications:
Education:
University degree with emphasis in a nuclear discipline, supplemented by in-depth theoretical and practical training in areas relevant to safeguards
Experience:
At least 10 years of combined relevant experience in the nuclear field at national and/or international level.
Languages:
Fluency and ability to communicate effectively in English, including drafting technical documents, essential. Knowledge of another official IAEA language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) an asset.
Others:
Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
