Responsabilities:
Develop and implement the Division's special audits activities, including but not limited to: development of methodologies for trust funds audit, forensic audit and any other assigned areas;
Competencies:
Demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge of all aspects of the audit function; tact and negotiating skills. Works in collaboration with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in finance, business administration, accounting or other related area. Professional certification in forensic auditing such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in auditing, including at least 3 years in forensic auditing, is required. Audit management experience is also required.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in written and spoken English is required and knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of other official UN languages is desirable.
Others:
Very good working knowledge of technology tools such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required. Knowledge of specialized audit software and forensic tools is also required.
