Carries out research on the economic and social impact of foreign investment and transnational and large national corporation strategies for countries, subregions and economic activities in Latin America and the Caribbean

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in economics, business administration or related field.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible post-advanced degree experience in economic research and analysis and policy formulation in areas directly related to foreign investment, transnational or large conglomerate strategies
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in oral and written Spanish and English is essential, as verified through relevant exams, if necessary.
Others:
Familiarity with quantitative techniques and econometric analysis, would be an asset.
