Responsabilities:
Ensure the effective and efficient implementation and evaluation of safeguards activities at the State level in cooperation with relevant officers in accordance with Divisional practices
Competencies:
Demonstrated ability to manage human, financial and material resources to achieve stated objectives, plus the required skills to provide feedback on performance and to encourage staff development.

Qualifications:
Education:
University degree in physical sciences or engineering, or equivalent degree from a recognized specialized technical institute.
Experience:
At least 10 years of combined relevant experience in the nuclear field at national and/or international level.
Languages:
Fluency and ability to communicate effectively in English, including drafting technical documents. Knowledge of any other official IAEA language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
Others:
Experience in international safeguards - the planning and performance of inspections, DIVs, CAs and data analysis and reporting the results thereof.
