Responsabilities:
The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of relations with extrabudgetary funding sources with a view to assisting the programme sectors and field units in securing extrabudgetary resources.

Strategic planning, management and coordination skills, including ability to
manage financial resources and exercise appropriate supervision and control;

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (MA/MSc graduate level) in economics/international development.
Experience:
At least 15 years’ high-level experience in UNESCO or in another national or international development cooperation agency.
Languages:
Excellent command of written and spoken English or French, with good working knowledge of the other. Knowledge of other United Nations languages is an asset.
Others:
Ability to take initiative and maintain effective working relationships with people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds;
