Responsabilities:
Contributes to WUN`s working relationships with the UN secretariat, Missions, foundations, universities and NGOs in the greater New York area and informs them of WHO activities
Competencies:
Knowledge of communications and public relations activities and technology. Demonstrated skills and ability to plan, implement and evaluate outreach programmes and activities.

Qualifications:
Education:
University degree in journalism, communications, public relations or equivalent training or self study/ work experience. Specialized training in communications and/or information technology.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in communications and public relations at the national level and 2 years experience at the international level. Experience in UN information outreach activities.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English. Working knowledge of other WHO languages is an asset.
