Responsabilities:
Provide support in the implementation of activities in the area of communicable diseases within the overall framework of the BCA between the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan;
Competencies:
Capacity to identify priorities and to adapt them to realistic objectives and timelines. Demonstrates a systematic and efficient approach to work.

Qualifications:
Education:
University Degree in medicine, public health or related field. Post-graduate training in public health and/or training/qualification in epidemiology, infectious diseases control, STI, HIV/AIDS or similar.
Experience:
At least 7 years of progressive experience in Public Health, Communicable Disease Control, and HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment or care, at national and international levels.
Languages:
Good knowledge of English required. Working knowledge of other WHO/EURO official languages and of one of the local languages would be an asset.
