Prepare functional specification, technical specification and user documentation of software applications. Liaise with users on all aspects and during all phases of IT projects; tracks problems
Competencies:
Knowledge of information technology/information management, particularly in systems analysis, database design and programming.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in application development or related area. At least two years’ experience of various aspects of Web Content Management or Enterprise Content Management
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post fluency in oral and written English is required.
Others:
Experience in Lotus Notes application development is desirable.
