Responsabilities:
Provide technical assistance to the National TB Control Programs (NTPs) in the Ministries of Health related to diagnosis, treatment regimens, patient monitoring, and social support in managing MDR-TB and XDR-TB.
Competencies:
Intrainstitutional Action: Leads team efforts toward full understanding of the policies the organization must operate within as well as the Standard of Conduct for the International Civil Service.

Qualifications:
Education:
A university degree in medicine or health sciences from a recognized university with specialized training in respiratory diseases and a master's degree in public health, epidemiology, health administration or related field.
Experience:
At least nine years of combined national and international experience working in TB control, including program management and implementation of projects, clinical practice on respiratory diseases, supervision, training and/or research.
Languages:
Very good knowledge of English or Spanish with working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese would be an asset
