Responsabilities:
Assists the Regional Adviser, Making Pregnancy Safer/Reproductive Health and Research (RA-MPS/RHR) in operationalizing regional strategy for maternal and newborn health (MNH) according to country needs and situation

Qualifications:
Education:
Degree in Medicine with Postgraduate Degree in Public Health/other fields related to maternal and newborn health.
Desirable: Training/specialization in Obstetrics/Gynaecology or Paediatrics is of advantage.
Experience:
Working experience of over seven years in the area of maternal/perinatal/reproductive health, including at least three years at the international level in developing countries with progressively increasing responsibilities.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other UN languages would be an asset.
