Responsabilities:

Provide analytical support to the work of the Division, in the form of briefing notes, analytical reviews of important publications, and short papers.

Competencies:

Ability to write clearly, concisely and speedily, including for a non-specialist readership.

Qualifications:

Education:

Ph.D. degree in economics, ideally with a focus on international trade, and up to five years of working experience on issues of international trade

Experience:

Evidence of a solid working knowledge of modern international economics and quantitative economic analysis.

Languages

The incumbent will be required to work in English. A good knowledge of at least one of the other two WTO working languages (French and Spanish) would be an advantage.
