Responsabilities:
Provision of the motor transport capability for ICTR within its operational areas in Tanzania, Rwanda and East Africa. This involves provision and maintenance of the vehicle fleet at a number of geographically separated sites;
Competencies:
Demonstrates ability to manage diverse transport operations; ability to review alternative options and select most effective and cost efficient mode of transport;

Qualifications:
Education:
First level university degree in the field of mechanical engineering, transportation, logistics, administration or management with a specialization in transport or logistics management.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in motor vehicle transport operations management. UN field experience is an advantage.
Languages:
English and French are the working Languages of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). For the post advertised, fluency in spoken and written English; knowledge of a second official UN language would be an advantage.
Others:
Good working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Comprehensive understanding and experience working in Microsoft ACCESS, EXCEL, LOTUS NOTES - FACS, MERCURY & GALAXY. Holder of a valid driving license.
