Responsabilities:
Elaborate and implement activities in the areas of bioethics, ethics of science and technology, human rights, a culture of peace,
democracy and other areas of social and human sciences programme of
interest to the region.
Competencies:
Ability to establish partnerships and to ensure a high level coordination and cooperation among relevant Ministries and civil society.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in a field of social and human sciences or interdisciplinary studies, with recognized competence in one
or more of the following areas: bioethics, ethics of science and technology, philosophy, human rights.
Experience:
At least seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in the field of social and human sciences and/or a
multidisciplinary related field, of which three to five years acquired at the international level.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English or French and good knowledge of the other language.
