Responsabilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Representative of OHCHR Office in Guatemala, the Officer’s main tasks and responsibilities will be to advise on financial, personnel and administrative matters and perform related tasks.
Competencies:
Professionalism - Knowledge and understanding of relevant UN administrative, financial and accounting policies and procedures. Proven conceptual analytical, and evaluative skills and ability to conduct independent research and analysis.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree, preferably in business administration, finance, accounting or a relevant combination of academic qualification and experience in a related field.
Experience:
At least five years of progressively responsible work experience in human resources, budget, financial regulations, general administration, field operations, of which preferably two years with the UN in the field and/or headquarters.
Languages:
Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish and good knowledge of English. Working knowledge of French is an asset.
Others:
