Responsabilities:
Support the Section Head in drawing up and implementing annual work and resource plans. Together with the Technical Adviser, assess their applicability within the overall ICT strategy.
Competencies:
Thorough knowledge of enterprise class IT infrastructure: Windows server environment, Windows storage and backup systems, web servers, database management systems, and software architecture.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university (or equivalent) degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a relevant field. An information systems security certification will be an advantage.
Experience:
Seven years of professional experience as a Windows systems engineer in a large and complex IT environment (50+ servers). Five years of hands-on configuration, administration and troubleshooting experience in Microsoft Windows 2003 server
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of German and/or other official languages of the Agency (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an advantage.
Others:
Experience in the formulation, planning and delivery of IT projects, including the management of financial and human resources.
