Reviews and evaluates all jobs submitted by Documents Control for pre-translation referencing, determining relative complexity and priority;Makes reference assignments to individual staff.

Qualifications:
Education:
A first-level degree from a university or institution of equivalent status. Candidates for this position must have passed the United Nations Competitive Examination for Associate Documentation Officer.
Experience:
A minimum of two years experience in reference management within the United Nations.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English and of two other official United Nations languages, one of which must be French or Spanish, as tested by the United Nations competitive Examination for Association Documentation Officer, is required.
Others:
Thorough knowledge of e-Doc, e-folder and the electronic referencing process in support of translation within the United Nations is essential.
