Responsabilities:
Develop remote monitoring systems to improve communications and data transfers from remote facilities. Design, test and implement various network configurations, using the latest firewall, VPN, routing techniques etc.
Competencies:
Thorough understanding of software engineering processes and the software engineering life cycle; disciplined, methodical approach to requirements analysis and system design.

Qualifications:
Education:
University (or equivalent) degree in information technology or computer science.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years of working experience including at least five years in programming in a complex network environment, preferably in an international organization.
Languages:
Fluency in English essential. Knowledge of German is preferable. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is desirable
Others:
Networking experience to include extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPN, firewalls, telecommunications, and IT security techniques.
