Responsabilities:
Support the development and implementation of community based strategies and interventions for MNH, Assist countries and partners to design effective advocacy, mobilisation and empowerment campaigns.
Competencies:
Excellent knowledge of the theories, principles, methods and processes of health promotion for maternal and newborn health. Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced degree in social or behavioural sciences with post-graduate degree in public health or a relevant health related discipline. Training in health promotion would be an asset
Experience:
Several years experience in the field of maternal and newborn health promotion and prevention, of which some years at international level and in low and middle income countries, including active membership in international working groups.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English or French with a working knowledge of the other language.
