Responsabilities:
Support to other databases used by HRMS staff. Provide support and training to new and existing users of other databases used in HRMS, e.g. Lotus Notes and Delphi Applications.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, design scripts to solve the problems and execute the scripts in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of secondary school education is required. Supplemental technical training in information technology or related field is required.
Experience:
Six years of experience in SYBASE, SQL and UNIX, of which some experience should be in working with Lotus Notes, Crystal Reports, Paradox, MS-Office, MS Access, programming and IMIS, are required.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another United Nations language is an added advantage.
Others:
An understanding of the rules and procedures that are used in UN Personnel services.
