Job offer description: City: Geneva Country: SWITZERLAND Responsabilities: Undertake research and prepare analytical reports. Provide technical inputs (articles, reports) for ILO reports and publications. Provide technical backstopping, project implementation and monitoring. Competencies: General competencies include: the ability to participate effectively in technical missions and multi-disciplinary projects; capacity to provide technical advice on historical issues related to the ILO.

Qualifications: Education: Advanced university degree in labour and social history; a PhD will be a considerable advantage. Experience: Three years' experience at the national level and two years at the international level. This should include experience of undertaking and publishing historical research related to the ILO. Languages: Excellent command of English with a good working knowledge of French. Reading knowledge of Spanish and German is an advantage.
