Responsabilities:
Design and promote a wide range of special subject-matter-related programmes. Develop and review an institutional framework in which ILO constituents can best improve, implement and evaluate efficient ILO action programmes.
Competencies:
Job specific competencies include strong drafting skills and the ability to synthesize research and reach empirically based conclusions on related subjects.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in economics or business or related field or a first level degree with the equivalent in work experience, with demonstrated expertise in the area of job creation and enterprise development.
Experience:
Eight years' at the national level or five years at the international level, in enterprise development and business services policies and programme implementation, including micro and small and medium enterprises in the informal economy.
Languages:
Excellent command of English; proficiency in one of the other working languages of the ILO would be an advantage.
