Responsabilities:
Undertaking situation analysis in Safe Motherhood (SM) and define ways of assuring quality of care at all levels of service delivery.
Competencies:
High technical and Managerial competence in Reproductive Health, (including HIV/AIDS programmes), at National and International level in Africa.

Qualifications:
Education:
Recognised Medical degree or Ph.D. in Nursing; Postgraduate Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Advanced Midwifery; Postgraduate Degree in Public Health (M.P.H)
Experience:
At least 10 years post-basic experience in Reproductive Health services including HIV/AIDS Programme activities at National and International levels mainly in Africa.
Languages:
Proficiency in spoken and written English or French and working knowledge of the other; Working of Portuguese would be an asset.
Others:
Computer literacy, at least in word processing and electronic communication technology.
