Responsabilities:
Coordinate the mobilization of resources for the department, and effectively manage the human, financial and other resources of the Department.
Competencies:
Knowledge of the social, economic and health factors contributing to the poor quality of life of women and men, particularly in developing countries.

Qualifications:
Education:
Essential: Advanced degree in a public health related field or any of the social sciences or, relevant doctoral degree.
Desirable: Post graduate degree in management and/or international relations or related discipline.
Experience:
10 years or more in the area of women's health with recognized expertise in the field of gender and health demonstrated through work experience. At least 5 years of experience should be international.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of English or French with a working knowledge of the other language.
Others:
A written test and interviews may be used as a form of screening.
