Responsabilities:
Manage and coordinate the implementation of WHO components of the Universal Access to HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment and Care (UA) initiative in Uzbekistan in close cooperation with national governmental counterparts and other key stakeholders.

Communicating in a credible and effective way: Speaks and writes clearly, adapting communication style and content so they are appropriate to the need of the intended audience.

Qualifications:
Education:
University degree in medicine, public health, social sciences or other area relvant to the job. Advanced or specialized training in international health, sexually transmitted and /or communicable diseases, epidemiology or health policy.
Experience:
At least three years experience in working with government officials as well as with national and international organizations, and/or civil society groups. Experience in project management and implementation of public health programs.
Languages:
Essential: Fluency in local official language and in English
Desirable: Russian. Knowledge of other official WHO language - French or German.
Others:
Computer proficiency in outlook, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
