Responsabilities:
A primary responsibility of the incumbent is to assist national jurisdictions to improve their capacity to prosecute serious violations of international humanitarian law.
Competencies:
Professionalism - Theoretical background and good understanding of the underlying legal issues in connection with the transfer of evidence and cases from the Tribunal to the local judicial authorities.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree preferably in law or in public relations, journalism or other related field. A first level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience at the international level in law, public relations, communications, journalism or related fields.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the Tribunal. For this post fluency in English is required. Fluency in Serbian is a major asset.
