Responsabilities:
Review and process requests for classification of 100 and 200 (project) series posts. Analyse and evaluate post descriptions against the available classification master standards in both the general service and professional categories.
Competencies:
Professionalism: A good knowledge of the Organization’s HR policies, procedures and practices, specifically in the area of post classification and job evaluation. Good analytical skills; demonstrated use of initiative.

Qualifications:
Education:
Completed secondary education, additional training or coursework in job classification highly desirable
Experience:
Several years of progressively responsible experience within the United Nations administrative/Human Resources Management system, including at least four years in the field of post classification and/or job evaluation.
Languages:
Fluency in oral and written English; working knowledge of a second official UN language desirable
Others:
Good knowledge of standard IT office applications, and good knowledge and experience with HR data base systems and related reporting facilities are required. Good drafting skills are also required.
