Responsabilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for coordination of M and E Planning, technical support to programmes, capacity building, planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting functions on strategies and projects.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Demonstrated understanding and mastery of designing programme Terms of Reference, evaluation plans and appropriate evaluation methodologies; solid knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis tools.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced degree in the field of Business Administration, Spatial/Urban/Rural Planning, Social Geography or other relevant Social Sciences or a first degree with a relevant combination of academic and professional qualifications.
Experience:
At least 7 years of work experience in Programme Management of which some should be in posts performing Monitoring and Evaluation functions.
Languages:
English and French are the two working languages of the United Nations. For this post, fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of a second UN language would be an additional advantage.
Others:
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, E-mail, internet) and especially good knowledge of data management systems are required.
