Responsabilities:
Prepares draft of security plan during the Capital Master Plan, including all aspects related to elaboration, development, implementation and updating of the plan.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Knowledge of security management combined with solid background of military or other security specialization. Ability to deal effectively with stress factor when encountered in security management.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in security, criminal justice or related field. A first level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in managing and operating a physical security operation with accompanying experience in Pass and ID badging systems implementation and operation.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in written and spoken English is required, and knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.
Others:
Proficieny in using MS Office application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access is desirable.
