Responsabilities:
Digitize the full text of nuclear information resources of Member States and IAEA; benchmark, prepare, scan and/or convert documents received in various formats (eg. paper, microfiche/film) to industry standard digital formats.
Competencies:
Excellent knowledge of document capture and management systems, standard digitization software, image enhancement tools, e.g. InputAccel, PixEdit, VRS, LiveLink.

Qualifications:
Education:
Completed secondary education.
Experience:
At least five years of relevant working experience, particularly in imaging and digitization principles and techniques. Experience in CD-ROM and DVD production and maintenance of imaging systems an advantage.
Languages:
Excellent knowledge of both oral and written English. Knowledge of German and/or other official languages of the IAEA (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) an asset.
Others:
Familiarity with hardware, software and applications installed at INIS, e.g. INISIS (INIS Imaging System), INISIR (INIS Information Retrieval system), IRS (Input Registration Subsystem) an asset.
