Responsabilities:
Formulate and implement the IAEA's activities in technology development and design aspects of innovative nuclear reactors and their application potential to meet IAEA programmatic objectives.
Competencies:
Technical expertise: Knowledge in design and technology development for innovative nuclear reactors, as well as technology and basic engineering of reactor designs and the key issues associated with their application, development and deployment.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university (or equivalent) degree in engineering (mechanical, nuclear, electrical, chemical, materials, etc.).
Experience:
At least seven years of professional experience in the subject area. Experience in international cooperation activities.
Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability in French, Russian or Spanish desirable.
Others:
Good communication skills. Ability to write technical documents in a structured manner and to deliver effective oral presentations at international meetings.
