Responsabilities:
The Economist in IEGCG will divide his/her time roughly equally between contributing to strengthening the IEG program on impact evaluation and evaluation methodology, and contributing as a team member for major corporate evaluation tasks.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and to effectively carry out multi-disciplinary analyses. Maturity, balanced judgment and good communication skills.

Qualifications:
Education:
Ph.D. in economics or a closely related discipline, or M.A. degree and a minimum of five years relevant applied experience.
Experience:
At least two years Bank experience, or equivalent external experience, in regional operations or an anchor or corporate group is preferred. Extensive experience with impact evaluation methodologies and applied experience.
Languages:
Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is desirable.
