Responsabilities:

Advise the Director/Head of Office and prepare the budget in close collaboration with BB (C/4, C/5, extra budgetary programme and work plans) and provide all relevant information required.

Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as ability to interpret rules and administrative guidelines, ability to analyse and evaluate human resources, financial, and budgetary issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

University degree in business administration, finance, accountancy, or related field.

Experience:

At least two years of relevant professional experience in administration, finance and accountancy gained after completion of University degree, preferably with UNESCO or with other United Nations agency.

Languages

Excellent knowledge of English or French and good working knowledge of the other language. Other official UN languages and/or the language of the duty station would be an asset.
