Job offer description:City: Addis AbabaCountry: ETHIOPIA Responsabilities:Ensure full compliance of HR activities with UN rules and regulations, ECA policies, procedures and strategies; effective implementation of the internal control, analysis of parameters in support of proper design of the HR management system.Competencies:Professionalism: Demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge of all aspects of human resources management, in particular on staff selection and mobility. Proven analytical capability in the interpretation and application of UN Rules and procedures. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced university degree (Masters Degree or equvalent) in human resources management, public or business administration or in a related field is required.Experience:At least 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management is required. Hands-on experience in the key modules of Galaxy system, e-Fact sheet, IMIS or similar ERP systems is an advantage.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post fluency in oral and written English and/or French with working knowledge of the other is an advantage.Others:Familiarity with human resources database and e-processes is required. Good knowledge of the UN HR policies, procedures and practices on recruitment and staff selection system and conditions of service in relation to the new HR Reform highly desirable. |
