Responsabilities:
Contribute to the overall implementation of the OHCHR global mandate in Mexico; Coordinate the observation unit: Coordinate the observation of the human rights situation at Federal and state level.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Comprehensive knowledge of and exposure to a range of political and human rights issues, to include approaches and techniques to address sensitive and complex problems with high level counterparts.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced University Degree preferably in law, political science, international relations or other disciplines related to human rights. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive experience may be accepted.
Experience:
At least 5 years of progressively professional experience at national and/or international levels in the human rights fields. Previous experience with United Nations or an international organization will be an advantage.
Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
