Job offer description:City: MombasaCountry: KENYA Responsabilities:Identify, recruit and train Somali speaking Radio Producers for the United Nations-supported African Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) Radio.Competencies:Professionalism: Ability to adapt and be innovative as new communications challenges arise; Exercise control of radio productions so that they will be in line with AMISOM mandate and objectives; ability to identify subjects for magazine publication. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in communications, journalism, public relations or other related field. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive experience may be accepted.Experience:Minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in journalism, communications or public relations, including experience at the international level.LanguagesFluency in oral and written English and Somali. Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.Others:Proven computer skills. |
