Responsabilities:
Identify, recruit and train Somali speaking Radio Producers for the United Nations-supported African Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) Radio.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Ability to adapt and be innovative as new communications challenges arise; Exercise control of radio productions so that they will be in line with AMISOM mandate and objectives; ability to identify subjects for magazine publication.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in communications, journalism, public relations or other related field. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive experience may be accepted.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in journalism, communications or public relations, including experience at the international level.
Languages:
Fluency in oral and written English and Somali. Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.
Others:
Proven computer skills.
