Job offer description:City: ViennaCountry: AUSTRIA Responsabilities:Plan, organise, conduct and manage investigations into cases of alleged misconduct, malfeasance, mismanagement, waste of resources, abuse of authority, or violations of the Organization's Rules and Regulations and Administrative Instructions.Competencies:Professionalism: A knowledge and understanding of the theories, concepts and approaches relevant to administrative investigations; practical experience in investigation management and administration. |
Qualifications:Education:An Advanced University degree (Master's Degree or equivalent) in law or a related area. A first level University degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience in fraud and corruption investigations.Experience:A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in investigatory work; two years of this experience at the international level, in particular within the United Nations, is desirable.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is a requirement. Working knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.Others:An awareness of software applications used in criminal and administrative investigations; the ability to gather and analyze electronic evidence; a willingness to learn and apply new technology where appropriate. |
