Responsabilities:
Plan, organise, conduct and manage investigations into cases of alleged misconduct, malfeasance, mismanagement, waste of resources, abuse of authority, or violations of the Organization's Rules and Regulations and Administrative Instructions.
Competencies:
Professionalism: A knowledge and understanding of the theories, concepts and approaches relevant to administrative investigations; practical experience in investigation management and administration.

Qualifications:
Education:
An Advanced University degree (Master's Degree or equivalent) in law or a related area. A first level University degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience in fraud and corruption investigations.
Experience:
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in investigatory work; two years of this experience at the international level, in particular within the United Nations, is desirable.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is a requirement. Working knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
Others:
An awareness of software applications used in criminal and administrative investigations; the ability to gather and analyze electronic evidence; a willingness to learn and apply new technology where appropriate.
