Qualifications:Education:Advanced University degree in natural and/or environmental sciences, natural resources management or related disciplines. A first university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.Experience:A minimum of ten years of working experience dealing with environmental issues on the national and/or international level with substantive experience in preparing and/or implementing national governmental policies to phase-out ODS.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required; Working knowledge of French and/or Spanish is desirable.Others:Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet) are required. |
