Qualifications:Education:Law degree issued by a duly accredited University of recognized standing. Broad knowledge of International Law of Human Rights and domestic law of OAS member countries.Experience:Four years of experience in the field of international public law, preferably in the area of human rights is required. A specialized higher-level degree, such as a master’s degree in international public law may be substituted for 2 years of experience.LanguagesExcellent knowledge of English and Spanish (read, write and communicate). Working knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is desirable but not required.Others:Sound knowledge of one, and considerable knowledge of the other two of the following legal systems is necessary: Latin America, the Caribbean and North America. |
