Responsabilities:
Formulating and implementing the substantive programme of the Division. Ensuring that programme activities are carried out in a timely fashion and coordinating the work in the different areas.
Competencies:
Professionalism: Expert knowledge in the technical field of inspection and evaluation; ability to conduct and supervise complex inspection and evaluation assignments.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in social sciences, public administration, programme evaluation or in a related field, with emphasis in development.
Experience:
At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in programme planning and evaluation of which 5-7 years must be at the international management level.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an advantage.
Others:
Knowledge of international organizations, planning, programme budgeting and implementation process of the United Nations is essential.
