Responsabilities:

Implement, configure and maintain the databases for the Organization's database applications in Headquarters, Country Offices and Centers; monitor databases to ensure adequate performance and space, establishing appropriate backup procedures..

Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of the administration of databases; database security theory and techniques; centralized and distributed data processing; identity and configuration management, network operating systems and their impact on database performance.

Qualifications:

Education:

A bachelor's and master's degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics or in a field related to Systems Analysis and Software Development, from a recognized university.

Experience:

Essential: Nine years of combined national and international experience in the administration of database management system (DBMS), including implementation, multi-user information systems, developing systems utilizing the Web.

Languages

Very good knowledge of English or Spanish with working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese would be an asset.
