Job offer description:City: GenevaCountry: SWITZERLAND Responsabilities:Support the design and implementation, within a designated portfolio, of the public healthwork being carried out by WHO in emergency and humanitarian action at country and regional office levels.Competencies:Demonstrated managerial, supervisory and leadership skills. Mature judgment and initiative. Ability to recommend and interpret WHO technical policies and standards and establish and maintain effective working relationships. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced university degree in health related sciences, social sciences or management science.Experience:At least 10 years experience in emergency management at national and/or international levels in a public health context, including experience in disaster rehabilitation in developing countries, or extensive experience in responsible positions.LanguagesExcellent knowledge of English or French with a working knowledge of the other. |
