Job offer description:City: GenevaCountry: SWITZERLAND Responsabilities:Act as a technical resource person and focal point for work and activities related to pharmacovigilance forantiretroviral drugs, safety and efficacy of anti retrovirals (ARVs), interactions ofantiretroviral therapy and nutrition.Competencies:Demonstrated knowledge of HIV/AIDS treatment both in clinical and in public health management aspects, complemented by the ability to integrateanti-retroviral preventionand treatment in health systems strategies and policies. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced level Medical degree and post graduate qualification in the following areas: Communicable disease, public health, pharmacology or epidemiology.Experience:At least ten years experience in establishing and leading projects which involve public health, of which some should be HIV related. Clinical experience of managing HIV/ARVs and /or opportunistic infections, at national and/or international level.LanguagesExpert knowledge of English required. Working knowledge of French would be an asset. |
