Job offer description:City: GenevaCountry: SWITZERLAND Responsabilities:Liaise between the field office in Pakistan (Islamabad) and UNCTAD headquarters to ensure smooth implementation of activities. Act as focal point to ensure continuous flow of information between the various stakeholders.Competencies:Professionalism: In-depth understanding of international transport and facilitation measures; proven ability to work with governments and industry, and prepare reports on transport issues, and advice on transport agreements. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced University degree in international law, economics, international relations, trade, transport, or a related field. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive relevant experience may be accepted.Experience:At least five years of progressively responsible postgraduate experience in the area of trade facilitation on both national and international levels. Experience in the implementation of technical assistance project management, including budgeting.LanguagesMust have fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of French would be an asset.Others:Proven report writing skills. Capacity to work in challenging environments (field missions to Pakistan will be required). |
