Job offer description:City: ViennaCountry: AUSTRIA Responsabilities:Budget preparation, implementation and Administration: With particular emphasis on UNODC voluntarily funded budgets, analyze cost estimates and budget proposals. Participates in preparation of biennial budget proposal.Competencies:Professionalism - Proven conceptual analytical, and evaluative skills and ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identifying issues, formulating options and making conclusions and recommendations. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field. A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted.Experience:A minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, management and reporting and financial management systems. Successful completion of work in a section of the programme budget.LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency, oral and written in English is required. Fluency in a second official UN language is desirable.Others:Excellent computer skills including in financial systems such as the Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) and ProFI, Sun System and the UN Budget Information System (UNBIS). |
