Job offer description:City: GenevaCountry: SWITZERLAND Responsabilities:Provision of guidance on financial policies and objectives for budgetary and financial issues to ensure consistent application and observance of the United Nations Financial Regulations and Rules .Competencies:Professionalism: Expert knowledge and command of the United Nations Financial Regulations and Rules and results-based budgeting and financial administration of resources; ability to produce reports and papers on complex technical issues. |
Qualifications:Education:Advanced University degree (Masters or equivalent) preferably in finance, business administration or related area. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and extensive experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.Experience:Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in the field of accounting or financial management and budgeting systems.LanguagesFluency in oral and written English; working knowledge of French; knowledge of another official United Nations language is an asset. |
