Responsabilities:

Provide expert advice and support aimed at increasing awareness, knowledge and understanding of the right to development and its related issues, facilitate and support the mainstreaming of the right to development.

Competencies:

Professionalism – Comprehensive knowledge of and exposure to a range of human rights issues related to human rights and development.

Qualifications:

Education:

Advanced University Degree (Master or equivalent), preferably in development studies, political science, law, economics or other disciplines related to human rights.

Experience:

At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in human rights and development or other related disciplines, including at the international level.

Languages

Fluency in oral and written English; working knowledge of French highly desirable.
