Responsabilities:
The incumbent will provide advice and support in the development and implementation of polices and procedures as they apply to information services, including Information Technology (IT) and other information related matters.

Professionalism: Highly developed conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving ability; demonstrated ability to handle complex business process and information integration issues.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer or information systems, business administration, statistics, economy or other related field.
Experience:
A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in information management or related area including experience in developing, managing and overseeing large centralised systems and also at least 5 years of experience at international level.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of other United Nations languages is highly desirable.
Others:
Experience in both public and private sector organization's is preferred.
