Analyses the capabilities of the ICTY’s Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) software in relation to the requirements of new database development projects and submits proposals to the Chief of Development Unit.

Qualifications:
Education:
Advanced university degree in Computer or Information Systems, enhanced with up-to-date technology and database administration courses, or specialized experience in RDBMS administration.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in database administration.
Languages:
English and French are the working languages of the Tribunal. For the post advertised, fluency in one of the languages is required. Knowledge of a second official UN language is an advantage. Working knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage.
Others:
Practical experience in the implementation and administration of computerized database applications in a client server/groupware environment using RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle Ingress and Lotus Notes.
